Lom is known for its rich culinary culture, and it’s no secret that our former head chef, Arne Brimi, played a significant role in promoting this through his innovative work at Fossheim for over 20 years and in Lom for more than 40 years. We continue to focus on pure, simple, and flavorful food, inspired by the nature surrounding the hotel, local producers, and suppliers. During the season, we receive fresh ingredients delivered right to our door, and outside of the season, we source other exciting products that suit the time of year and intrigue our chefs.
Heidrun, with her sommelier training, along with her father Svein and sommelier Kaja, carefully selects wines for the wine list and pairs them with the menu. Ingrid, with her beer sommelier certification, can suggest beers that complement the food.
