Climb to the Top of Norway!

The hike starts from Juvasshytta and takes approximately 6 hours round trip. The view from the top is incredible, and this is an adventure you won’t soon forget!

General Information:

• You drive your own car to Juvasshytta (45-minute drive). Meeting time at Juvasshytta is 09:30. In the high season, there is also a bus from Lom center to Juvasshytta.
• NB! You must book your place on the guided hike from Juvasshytta here (NOK 400 per person / NOK 380 per child aged 7-15).
  This ticket is not included in the package price! Alternatively, you can book your own guide through one of the activity companies in Lom.

The hike begins at Juvasshytta. The guides will meet you just before the start and provide group information. Harnesses will be distributed and adjusted for each person. Children use full-body harnesses, which require more adjustments, and the guides will assist with this.

The hike is approximately 15 km round trip and takes 6-7 hours.

Recommended Gear List (borrowed from the experts at Juvasshytta and their guides):

• Good shoes, like hiking boots (no sneakers!). Hiking boots can be rented at Juvasshytta.
• If you have gaiters, it’s a good idea to use them, especially early in June/July.
• Sunglasses
• Hat
• Gloves
• Sunscreen
• Waterproof/windproof outerwear
• Change of clothes
• Thermos or water bottle
• Packed lunch

Prices:

• Per person in a double room: NOK 3560 + guide ticket
• Per child (under 12 years) in an extra bed: NOK 1415 + guide ticket (children 7-15 years)

Tours:Daily glacier guiding from Juvasshytta to Galdhøpiggen from June 1st to September 15th, 2025. Departure at 10:00.
